Pianist/composer Yuko Yoshida releases long-awaited new work with her quintetPianist and composer Yoshida Yuko's latest work is a satisfying piece full of originality, created by a band formed with members who display strong individuality. In addition to the title tune, the original song Blue Glow, which means the star Sirius = 'something that shines', Twin dolls performed in a piano trio format, and the free-form Cubism, the album contains a total of nine songs, including the jazz standard number Softly as in a morning sunrise, in which Yoshida Yuko uses piano effects. The membersare Arimoto Rajin on trumpet, bass clarinet, and flugelhorn, Tomura Kuniaki on tenor sax, Hatakeyama Rei on bass, and Saito Yohei on drums.
