The Groove Nashville

'You Had It Coming' starts with a heavy track written by Jeniffer Batten (Guitar virtuoso famous for playing all three of Michael Jacksons world tours) so it comes as no surprise that many of the tracks lean more towards heavy blues-rock. 'You Had It Coming' impresses with it's stripped down sound, disciplined arrangements and playing. The British musician/singer Imogen Heap contributes powerful vocals to the Muddy Water tune Rollin' and Tumblin', and some suggestive non-singing vocals to Dirty Mind, and the opening Earthquake features an odd sampled vocal. Otherwise the album is all instrumental. The album then rides out on a high, but toned down, note. Another epic album made by the guitar genius.
