Little Ralphie Molina was the teenage lead singer of The Personalities, a vocal group from Bronx, New York. Little Ralphie is not to be confused with Neil Young and Crazy Horse drummer Ralph Molina, who also performed doo-wop with Danny & The Memories. Featured here is Ralphie's ultra-rare single as a solo artist, originally released in 1958 on the Cleff-Tone label. A teen rocker, "Homework" b/w "Rock 'N' Roll The Vowels, " features a tune about the perils of homework that struts along nicely, propelled by Ralphie powerful vocal on the A side, while the B side is a pleasant teen rocker that serves as a remedial English lesson as Frankie, (quite literally) rocks the vowels: A, E, I, O, and U with the help of some rockin' guitar and saxophone.
